E-Commerce website for jewellery partnership

November 21st, 2010, posted in E-Commerce, News

I have recently developed an online shopping presence for a partnership of two excellent craftswomen who go by the name of Frogs and Roses.  The jewellery-makers were primarily selling their handmade products by word-of-mouth and through jewellery events and parties.  They wanted a simple online shop where customers could view their current products and purchase via a payment gateway.

Frogs and Roses – the online shop – was born!  The e-commerce site is easy to update via an intuitive backend where the products can be added and categorised with ease.

Kemnal Technology College utilises Flickr and Twitter services

As part of the constant modernisation of client pages, Kemnal Technology College have opted to use the awesome services provided by Flickr and Twitter.

Flickr is an easy way to manage photos online without the hassle of using image-processing software to edit photos or make thumbnail images.  It also saves from using up valuable server storage space.  Photo slideshows can be added to pages easily and elegantly with full-screen display option too.

Twitter – the social networking tool for syndicating information update snippets – is very useful.  It is a very popular tool for keeping in touch with individuals and companies.  FWD has provided a customised feed for the KTC homepage which provides regular news updates from the KTC twitter page.
