King Harold School is a mixed comprehensive school on the outskirts of London in the historic district of Waltham Abbey – the resting place of King Harold. The site was built with simplicity in mind and is a relatively small site at present.

Case Study
The main brief for this site was that it would have a minimal design utilising a simple colour scheme without complicated menu structures. The school wanted the header section to reflect the different pupil activities around the school, hence the collection of pupil-centred photos. The main features of the homepage include the Head’s mission statement, an easily updateable Google calendar, a sidebar containing a scrolling latest news window, and some useful links.
